Those meeting at the Royal Sonesta on New Orleans' famous Bourbon St. enjoyed the French Quarter ambiance and some great education. This year's convention, orchestrated by Convention Chair Dennis Mineni, provided top drawer speakers to address the elements of effective image. Each presenter was an an expert in his or her field. They were: |

Markets & Malls, who detailed how to stimulate growth through
image. |
| |
Rob Balge, Clear Channel executive who told attendees how to create a unique brand for their market. |
| |
Ki Nassauer and Sue Whitney, Junk Market Ladies and
Country Home editors, who relayed how image attracts shoppers. |
| |
| Bob James, Loss Prevention Manager for Safeway, who explained the threat of Organized Retail Theft and the impact it could have on a flea market's positive image. |
|
